Sandhya pov-

A week has passed since then and the matter of Shrishti, Rishab and Vihaan is getting worse.

I had a conversation with Shrishti about Rishab but she said that I am being manipulated by Vardhan .
She even said things About Vardhan and I had an argument with her.

Papa is strictly against Rishab and has refused to even discuss on that matter .

When Vihaan came to know about Shrishti having a boyfriend he instantly backed away and said he would never want to marry Shrishti against her will although he looked heart broken..

Due to everything going on there has been a tiff between me and Vardhan too.
Dad and Maa has no idea what's going on although Maa was bit concerned about Vihaan as he look upset now a days .

Akshita's wedding date is due next week . Everyone is busy with that and I feel guilty of not being able to involve myself into the preparation as I stay tensed and stressed now a days.

The only time I smile or laugh is with Amu . My baby is the only source of peace for me nowadays.
Vardhan is busy with the hotel construction going in Kerala....I don't exactly remember the place name although he have told me many times .

Due to upcoming wedding I can't even go to Shimla. I have to help Maa to get things ready for Akshita's wedding as we have to perform the ritual of Bhaat (The custom is, for the Mama to bestow lavish gifts on the bride. A couple of days prior to the wedding, the mother of the bride goes to her brother's house to invite him for wedding,).

We being the maternal family of Akshita we will play a major role in her wedding as per rituals and Bhaat is one among them .
Bua ji will come the day after tomorrow to perform the ritual.

I have never listened to this ritual before as we didn't have it back in Shimla.

In the evening I was teaching Amu about the father and mother's name.

Amu what is Daddy's name .....I asked .
"Vadhann Rana" .....she said while patting her bear making him sleep in her lap .

Very good, now what is mumma's name ....I asked completing her and she looked at me with a pout thinking 🤔 for a while but then replied with a grin ....

"Sanyaaa Rana " as she couldn't pronounce my correct name....

Wowww Amu ....you have found a new mother .....Daddy would like to meet her as I am fed up of this one now......he commented entering the room and she rushed to him getting up from her study chair .

While I turned and crossed my hands of chest glaring at him .
She prounce Sandhya as Sanyaa ....you don't have to be much happy about the new mother .....I said with a huff while he made a disappointed face making me gasp.

I thought my daughter have found someone for her father .....he said kissing Amu while I just shook my head rolling my eyes at his drama .

I cleaned the room as Amu's books and toys are scattered all over the floor.

He came out of the closet after changing his clothes and plopped on the bed beside Amu who was playing with her doll .

Coffee ....he demanded laying his head in Amu's lap and she kissed the side of his head making him smile ..
Ask your new wife for that ...I might add some poision to it. ...I said while he just laughed.

I won't bother you once she will be here but for now tumse hi kaam chalana padega .....haina Amu.....he said and Amu nodded patting his head making me groan .

Go now and bring me a good coffee...he said and I just threw a pillow at him before walking out .

I was making the coffee when Vihaan entred the kitchen to fill his water bottle.
Vihaan coffee loge ...I asked him with a smile.

Why not Bhabhi ....he said with a grin .
Bhabhiiii actually I wanted to say sorry to you . Everything messed up because of me .
I should have asked you before confessing my feelings to Bhai . But believe me my intention was never wrong.
I am really sorry Bhabhi.....he said with apologetic look .

Why you are sorry? Vardhan asked from behind in a stern tone .
You have not done anything wrong to say sorry to anyone. You don't have to be guilty if there are people who are fools and get trapped easily.....he said gritting his teeth.

Bhai please....Vihaan said trying to calm him down .
Your Bhaiya is right Vihaan . You don't have to be sorry about anything. I know you .....and I trust you ....I said and he nodded with a small smile and left the kitchen.

Itna dant ghissege na to ye time se pehle toot jaayege....phir nai to kya purani vaali biwi bhi chali jaayegi .....I said with a chuckle.

Hehehe ....not funny....he said mimicking my laugh.
I am seriously thinking about adding poison ti your coffee now ....I said while he spanked my bum making me hiss .

I grabbed the knife 🔪 from the counter and pointed at him and at the same moment Maa entred the kitchen and looked at me with wide eyes .

Sandhya ye kya kar rahi ho beta .....Maa asked me while I hurriedly dropped the knife on the counter and smiled sheepishly.

Maa ek coffee maangi thi mene .....Jaan lene p aa gai hai itni si baat p..... Vardhan said turning to Maa making me gasp .
Nahi Maa , asa kuch nahi hai ....
Juth ku bol rahe hai aap ...I said glaring at him .

Dekha Maa kese dant rahi ab mujhe . I swear jesi aap logo ko lagti hai vesi bilkul nahi hai ye.....he said and left winking at me .

Maa....Vo juth bol rahe hai ...I said turning to Maa while Maa just laughed patting my head and starting doing her work .

I poured the coffee in two mugs and took it in the hall for both the brothers.
Amu was sitting in Vihaan's lap telling him about her school .
Nowadays she only talks about school related stuff all the time.

I gave Vihaan his coffee while putting the other cup on the centre table in front of Vardhan and he laughed looking at it. He picked it up and raised the cup in my direction.
Cheers Biwiiii.....he said making me glare at him and he burst out laughing.

I laughed too seeing him laughing like this ...Amu and Vihaan joined us too ..

At night ....

I layed on the bed and he pulled me closer to him as Amu was sleeping with Dad and Maa today as tomorrow is Saturday and it's off for her school.

He cursed under his breath before hugging me .
Shhhh....there is nothing to cry about...you know that I am just teasing you ....he said kissing my hair .
I don't know.....I felt like crying all of a sudden....I said and he snickered.
