Sandhya pov-

Mummaaaa......Amu whined as I tried to change her clothes disturbing  her sleep .
Bas bas ...ho gya bacha ....I said finally making her wear her cute night suit .

She was wearing the dress from reception  and I couldn't let her sleep in that.

I took changed my clothes and laid beside Amu and Aayu..
Vardhan entred the room with the water jug and put it on the side table and laid on the other side of bed .

Finally everything happened peacefully ....I muttered and he hummed .
Now I just want Shrishti to settle down too everything else is going good....I said .

Ho jaayega .....Jada apne dimag p jor mat daal ....He stated with closed eyes .
Ghar khaali sa ho jaayega ekdum se ....most of the relatives have already left ....kal Maa , Papa or Shrishti bhi chale jaayege......I pouted and looked at him .

Aap sun bhi rahe h Vardhan .....I poked his arm .
Nahi mei nahi sunn Raha teri faltu baate aadi raat ko ......sleep now ....He said .

Haan ab mei faltu hi lagungi na aapko .....mene dekha tha kese hass hass k ladkiyo se baat kar rahe the reception mei and vo ek aapki college friend vo to bohot hi jayda comfortable ho rahi thi .....you also didn't say anything to her .....I said angrily.

Kal baat karenge iss baare mei ...sooja ab ....He said .
Nahi mujhe abhi karni h ....I said being stubborn.

Sandhyaaa ......he warned me in his stern tone opening his eyes and I immediately closed my eyes muttering a good night ..

I sneaking peeped through my lashes after few minutes to check if he slept or not and thankfully he slept.
I don't know but I was not feeling sleepy at all but he wants to sleep.

I picked up my phone and started to look at the photos I clicked and a dance video played all of a sudden and the phone fell from my hand in haste and he opened his eyes and looked at me angrily.

He snatched my phone and kept it in the drawer.
Come here ......He commanded me sternly ..
Nahi mei soo jaaungi apni jagah p hi.....I whispered..

Suna nahi kya kaha ......he gritted out and I walked to his side.
He pulled me beside him and caged my legs in between his and adjusted my head  in the crook of his neck .
Sleep now ....he said kissing my hair and I snuggled more into him and finally slept .

Next morning........

I woke up and changed Aayu diaper.
He woke up and gave me his cute smile and patted on my chest asking me to feed him .
I fed him kissing his head . I looked at Amu who was sleeping with her mouth open and drooling.
I wiped her mouth and adjusted her properly on the bed .

Aayu slept again as it was just 6 am .
He wakes up around 7:30 usually.
I walked to the washroom and got ready in my saree .

After making a messy bun of my long hairs and filing my hairline I walked to him and shook him slightly.

Vadhann. Uth jaaye ...office nahi jaana kya. ...I said ..he turned towards Amu graoning a little.

Thik h ssote raho but baat mei mujhe mat kehna ...meri meeting thi ...ye tha....tumne uthya nahi .....and all ....I said and he hummed in sleep.

Ohhh God .....Why is it so difficult to wake this men up .
I pulled the comforter and turned him towards me and he finally woke up .

Ye kya tarika h yrrr uthane ka .....he said yawing ..
Yahi sahi tarika hai ...ache tarike aapke kaam k nahi h ....I said and he pinched on my bare waist making me wince .

Laal mere dil ka haal .....he said dramatically back hugging me and kissed on my neck but I didn't responded to him .

He started tickling me and I giggled while squirming in his arms .
Jaaye ab .....nahi to late ho jaaoge and Aaj Vedika ki pehli rasoi bhi h so mujhe bhi neeche jaake tyari dekhni h ....I said .

Hmmm....hum kya Dene vaale h Vedika ko shagun mei ....He asked.
Couple watch .....I said and he nodded impressed with my choice of gift .

Smart ho gai ho tum mere saath reh k .....he said waking to the washroom making me shake my head at my self obsessed men.

Aapke saath reh k pagal nahi Hui vo hi bohot h ....I muttered.
Kya.....he asked turning to me .
Kuch nahi.....Jaaye Mr . Smarty pants ....I said and he nodded before disappearing into the washroom.

I woke up Amu and gave her a bath in kids bathroom.
Mumaa....lenga pehna h ....she said making me chuckle.
Baby but abhi to saare function over ho gye h ....abhi to normal day h .....and look this frock is preety too ......I said kissing her cheek .

Buttttt Mummaaa I lik lengaaaa.....She pouted keeping her head on my chest .
But aapka lengha to dirty h ....mumma pehle usko wash karegi phir aap pehn Lena ....abhi k liye ye pehen lega Mera bacha ....I tried convincing her she nodded ..

Aayu also got up after sometime and I will give him bath in the afternoon only .
I took them both downstairs and got busy in the kitchen to help Vedika .She prepared Halwa for everyone.

Vardhan went to the office after breakfast while I got busy helping Maa with her packing .

Arjun came in the afternoon to take Vedika back home for the ritual.
We bid farewell to Vedika and I spent most of the day with My parents and Shrishti and convinced them to stay back .

Vedika returned by late evening as Vihaan went to pick her up .
Her parents has sent gift for every as per the rituals and Amu was the most excited to open her gift .

Vihaan helped her and it has a dress and a teddy bear.
Amu say thankyou to Chachi.....I said and she kissed Vedika's cheek saying a thanku cutely making Vedika smile .

Vardhan also came back and I served him some coffee and snacks .
Suniyeee aaj raat ko bonfire plan kare ....I asked .
Kya bonefire .....Aaj raat ko kuch aur karte h .....he said and winked at me .

Aapki sui udhar hi ataki rehti h humesha .....I commented.
Sui nahi kuch aur ....he said signalling towards his lap with his eyes and smirked at me .
Kitne beshram hai Aap Vardhan..... Ye baate karwa lo saara din . But on a serious note ...please bonefire kare.....maja aayega ....phir sab apne kaam mei busy ho jaayege ....I said sitting beside him and snuggling into his chest and pressed a soft kiss on his throat to make him say yes.

His hand slided to my bare waist and he caressed my skin .
Well .....agar aap raat vaala kaam prepone kar de ho sakta h ......He said and I slapped his chest and glared at him .

What ? It's a fair deal . Ji mujhe Chaaiye h vo karo to mei bhi vo karunga Jo tumhe chaiye .....give and take ... simple hai .....he said sipping on his coffee and I blushed as he pulled my blouse string giving me an intense look .

After a 2 hour love making session he finally left me .
I got downstairs and told everyone the plan . The elders said that they won't join but all others agreed .

Vardhan told me he would order food from hotel and got busy in the arrangements.
Jiju kitne sweet h na....aapki har baat maan lete h ..... Shrishti said and I just chuckled only if I could tell him his demands and give and take rules ...

We played truth and dare and got to know each other mischievous.
Shrishti told everyone my embarrassing childhood stories making everyone laugh and Vardhan teased me a lot .

Actually When I was a child ....maa and Papa took me to a wedding and I really liked how the dulhan was dolled up .
Shrishti was too small that time .
I asked Papa to buy me dulhan dress and he told me ki mera pati laayega vo dress mere liye ...as the wedding dress is basically from groom side only .

And I used to ask Papa often ki mera pati kab aayega as I was eager to wear that dress .
It was my birthday after a few days and I was being adamant that I won't cut the cake untill my husband comes as I wanted to wear the wedding dresss on my birthday to look beautiful.

Papa has a hard time convincing me .

Now Vardhan is teasing me that I was waiting for him since childhood and How badly I wanted him .

The next morning....

We had our breakfast and were sitting in the hall .
Everyone was at home as it's Sunday.
Shrishti was playing with Amu and Aayu while we were discussing about how we enjoyed the wedding and recalling the incidents.

Vedika's gave a surprise visit to us .
And I could believe when Vimal uncle ....that is Vedika's Dad asked for Shrishti's hand in marriage for Arjun.

Everyone else was mirroring my expression of shock and surprise.

But Vardhan told me Arjun didn't want to get married after his heart break .
Vimal uncle told that their house feels empty after Vedika's wedding and they want Arjun to marry and bring back a daughter.

So they might have pursuaded Arjun for the marriage and why not .Every parent wants to see their child well settled and have a family of their own .

I asked Vardhan sitting beside him .
Aapko kya lagta h iss baare mei .....

Well Arjun is not doubt a successful and nice men and we know them personally and Shrishti will be happy being a part of their family.
I have known Arjun from the time he entred the business world .

But all of a sudden coming with a proposal for a Shrishti....it feels a bit weired .
But if they are genuinely interested....there is no such reason to turn down this proposal.

Papa looked at Vardhan asking for his view and Vardhan nodded at him .

Papa said that he would really like to consider it but only with Shrishti's consent.

I suggested that Shrishti and Arjun should talk in private about it and they left towards the back yard.

Vimal uncle and Madhu Aunty chatted with Maa and Papa while I asked the helpers to serve them tea and snacks .

Vardhan asked me to call them back after half an hour and went towards the backyard.

Arjun smiled at me and went inside while I caressed Shrishti's head telling her how happy I am for her and how Arjun is a good match for her .

When we entred Inside Arjun has already announced their decision that they both are ready for it ..

I hugged Shrishti congratulating her and Vedika was excited too .

Vimal uncle suggested to do the Roka and we performed the ritual.

In the evening Shrishti and my parents left to Shimla.

Vardhan ....I am really happy today ....I said snuggling closer to him .
Haan dikh Raha h vo to .....He said .
Finally Shrishti found someone too .

I really liked Arjun . He is understanding....mature , good looking and well mannered.....I said .

Bas bas .....ab jayda ho Raha h tera Arjun puran .....Vardhan said getting jealous and I laughed kissing his cheek .

But no one is as best as my Dear Husband....I said and he grinned listening to his praise .

Everything in life happens for a reason ....
Life is a roller coaster ride....there are up and down...high and lows .....but one should keep going on ......

We should have faith in the almighty. He is the greatest planner .
Just like in my case only .....How I met Vardan ....got married ....we had misunderstanding...but we overcome them and accepted the change ....

I am thankful for everything I have in my life and I will keep moving ahead  Embracing the new beginnings with my open arms .......

Vardhannnn....I love you ....I said .
Hmmmm.....and he just hummed as usual making me smile .
