Sanyukta is glowing as she comes downstairs, followed by Ranvijay, who watches his wife’s radiant face, feeling relieved that everything is finally sorted.
His eyes follow her, and he smiles as she blushes when Anjali Bhabhi says something to her.
Sanyukta senses his gaze and looks at him, her blush deepening when she finds him watching her so intensely.
“Bhaiiii, you look like a creep, I swear,” Anushka teases.
Ranvijay narrows his eyes. “And you’re a real pest. Why can’t you mind your own business? Meri biwi hai… main dekhunga usse,” he retorts, playfully slapping her back, making her yelp in protest.
She punches him in the arm, only to hiss in pain, while he smirks, completely unbothered.
“Now it’s my turn,” he says mischievously, and she shrieks, running away as Ranvijay chases after her.
“Maaaaaa... Bhaiiii mujhe maar rahe hai!” Anushka cries, dashing toward Pushpa, who is busy serving Dadi.
“Yaha se dur hato dono... bahar jaake karo ye sab,” Pushpa scolds lightly, shaking her head in mild exasperation.
“Aap rok lo Bhaiii ko!” Anushka pleads, breathless from running, standing at the opposite end of the dining table.
Ranvijay calmly rounds the table, a mischievous smirk on his face. Anushka, panicking, dashes toward the kitchen, where Sanyukta is rolling chapatis.
“Bhabhiii!” Anushka calls desperately, darting behind Sanyukta and using her as a shield. She turns Sanyukta toward Ranvijay, positioning her like a barrier.
“Tch, tch, tch... dekho zara protection shield ka level,” Ranvijay mocks, clicking his tongue as he steps forward, amused by the sight of the two.
“Acha! Assi baat hai... Ab aap haath bhi laga ke dikhaiye usse,” Sanyukta says, holding the rolling pin up in a mock threat, her eyes gleaming with determination.
“Thank you, Bhabhiii! You’re the bestest!” Anushka exclaims, hugging Sanyukta from behind, then sticks her tongue out at Ranvijay.
“Sanyukta, get away. Main abhi warn kar raha hu... baad mein mat kehna ki bataya nahi,” Ranvijay warns, his tone playful but laced with mock seriousness. But Sanyukta holds her ground.
“Aap jayiye yaha se. Kyu sara time bechari Anu ke peeche pade rehte hai?” Sanyukta retorts, pointing the rolling pin toward the kitchen exit like a weapon.
In a swift move, Ranvijay grabs the rolling pin, pulling her forward into his arms. Anushka tries to make a quick escape, but Ranvijay catches her braid, yanking her back.
“Bhabhiiii, help please!” Anushka shrieks, struggling to free herself as she wriggles in his grasp.
Sanyukta tries to push Ranvijay away, but he doesn’t budge, standing firm. Desperate, she bites down sharply on his arm, making him hiss in pain as he loosens his grip on Anushka’s hair.
Anushka seizes the opportunity, breaking free and darting away. Ranvijay, nursing his arm, narrows his eyes at Sanyukta, who looks back with defiance, the corners of her lips twitching into a victorious smirk.
"Sorry....galti se hi gya ,"she said , looking at the bite mark .
"Koi nahi , galati to sabse ho jaati hai , ek mei bhi kar hi leta hoon," he replied holding both her hands behind her back and pulling her towards him ,making her curves crush against his hard chest .
"Ranvijay please na ....." Sanyukta tried to free herself, but all her attempts were in vain .
"Bite ke badle bite "....as simple as that , he said making her eyes widen .
"Nahiii na....."Sanyukta showed him her puppy eyes ,which only made him smirk .
He dipped his head into the crook of her neck , making her shut her eyes as she felt ticklish.
The very next moment, she let out a cry as his teeth grazed her skin . He bit on the base of her neck hard , making her hiss .
"Sssshhhhh ahhhhhh....." Sanyukta cried feeling the stingy sensation. He sucked on the spot , making her bite her lips to supress a moan .
His tongue lapped over the bite mark , causing a throbbing ache deep within her . He continued to suck on the spot where he had bitten , prompting her to tilt her neck sideways, giving him more access .
"Aaaahhh ...." A needy moan escaped her mouth as he sucked harder.
Her glass bangles shattered in his hand , making Ranvijay snap back to his senses.
He examined her wrist, relieved to find that she hadn’t gotten hurt. His eyes moved to her scarlet face, and he smirked proudly, admiring his artwork on her neck.
Sanyukta, however, glared at him, her fingers brushing over the area where he had bitten her so hard.
"Tune bhi kiya hai," he said, showing her the mark on his hand. She sighed in response, choosing not to argue further.
She quickly adjusted her dupatta to cover her neck and returned to her work.
Ranvijay, however, wasn’t done. He hugged her from behind, making her glance at him over her shoulder.
"Koi aa jaayega... lunch ka time ho gaya hai... jaaiye aap," she said, pushing him with her elbow. But he didn’t budge, instead resting his chin on her shoulder.
With a playful smirk, he pulled her dupatta aside and blew softly on the bite mark, making her giggle as the ticklish sensation spread through her.
"It suits you," he murmured, caressing the mark that had now turned a bluish-purple hue.
"Arrrhm..."
The sound of someone clearing their throat startled them both. Sanyukta hurriedly pushed him away as Anjali entered the kitchen, looking suspicious.
"Sorry, guys… main toh sirf roti lene aayi thi," Anjali said, her tone laced with teasing.
"It's okay, Bhabhi… we don't mind your presence," Ranvijay quipped, nudging Sanyukta, whose face flushed a deep shade of red with embarrassment.
"Bhabhi, main bhi aati hoon," Sanyukta muttered hastily, trailing behind Anjali as she left the kitchen.
Ranvijay chuckled to himself, amused by her reaction, and sauntered over to the dining table.
Taking a seat beside his mother, he slyly pulled Pushpa Ji’s chair closer, eliciting a groan from her.
"Meri pyaari Maa... mujhe bhi khila do," he said playfully, pinching her cheek.
"Le," she retorted, handing him a morsel. He accepted it happily, grinning like a mischievous child.
"Maa, you’re so biased! You only love Bhai," Anushka complained, pouting dramatically.
Pushpa Ji sighed and reached out to offer her a morsel. But before Anushka could take it, Ranvijay intercepted, grabbing her hand and eating it himself with a triumphant smirk aimed at his sister.
"Maa, aap khao khana... I was just joking. Aap sabka itna khyal rakhti ho... in fact, let me feed you," he said, pulling the plate closer and preparing a morsel for his mother. Pushpa Ji smiled warmly at his gesture, while Ranvijay shot Anushka a smug look that left her gaping in disbelief.
"You’re so mean, Bhaiiiii!" Anushka whined, throwing her hands up in frustration.
"Mean is just a perspective, my dear minion. From where I stand, it’s called Ranvijay's style," he said with a wink, clearly enjoying her annoyance.
"Here," Sanyukta interjected, holding out a morsel to Anushka, who immediately brightened up and accepted it with a grin.
"Bhabhiiiii… only you love me," Anushka declared, poking her tongue out at Ranvijay.
"But not more than she loves me... isn’t that right, wifey?" Ranvijay teased, raising a playful eyebrow at Sanyukta.
Caught off guard, Sanyukta’s eyes widened.
"Not possible! She loves me way more than you," Anushka argued defiantly, glaring at her brother.
"Sanyuuuuu… bolo na, sweetheart," Ranvijay urged, his tone dripping with mischief. Sanyukta’s face turned scarlet as laughter erupted around the table from Dadi, Pushpa Ji, and Anjali.
"I… I love everyone in the family," Sanyukta stammered, focusing intently on her plate to avoid his gaze. Inside, she was cursing him for putting her in such an awkward position yet again.
"She’s just shy… you all don’t know how many times she says ‘I love you’ to me in a day. She’s crazy about me," Ranvijay teased, his voice tinged with laughter as he watched her squirm.
"Bas kar, mat pareshan kar ab usse... dekh, bechari ache se khana bhi nahi kha paa rahi hai," Dadi interjected with a chuckle, glancing at Sanyukta, whose flustered state only added to the amusement around the table.
“Dadyyyyyyyy!” Avu squealed, grabbing everyone's attention as he jumped off Ranveer’s arm and ran straight to Ranvijay.
“Easyyyyy, my Simbaaa!” Ranvijay said, picking up the little boy and twirling him around. Avu clung to his father, giggling and bouncing in his arms.
Not far behind, Aarvi followed, and Ranvijay scooped her up as well, planting loving kisses on both of their cheeks.
He set them on the dining table and began feeding them alongside himself, ensuring neither was left out.
“They just had snacks,” Ranveer said, taking a seat next to Anjali.
“Bachon ka aise hi hota hai,” Pushpa Ji remarked, smiling fondly at the children’s antics.
“Daddyyy! Mei fun pakkk gayaaa thaa… watel game thaa… but mei nahi gayaaa… mei hutt hu naaa,” Avu babbled excitedly, pointing to the small bandage on his hand.
“Bade Papa ne aur mene bot chalyaaaa,” he added proudly, glancing at his Bade Papa for acknowledgment. Ranveer nodded, smiling at the little boy’s enthusiasm.
“Toh mujhe kyun nahi le gaye phir?” Ranvijay asked, pretending to be hurt.
“Sowwyyyy… NXT timeeee!” Avu said cutely, holding his ears in apology. Ranvijay melted, kissing his cheek affectionately.
“Chachuuuu… mene bhi fun kiya!” Aarvi chimed in, not wanting to be left out. The two kids began narrating their adventures in animated detail, and Ranvijay listened intently, reacting as though they were sharing the most important news in the world.
Sanyukta watched the scene unfold with a smile, her heart swelling at the bond Ranvijay shared with the kids. He had a way of making everyone feel special—whether it was the children or anyone else. He exaggerated expressions of surprise and showered them with praise for their little achievements, earning their delighted laughter.
After lunch, everyone retired to their respective rooms.
Avu, exhausted from all the excitement, quickly fell asleep. Sanyukta lovingly kissed his forehead and tucked him in, ensuring the duvet covered him snugly.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay was busy on a call with Satyam, his deep voice resonating across the room.
“Mujhse zyada time toh ye Satyam ke saath spend karte hain,” Sanyukta thought to herself, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye.
As he ended the call, he laid down beside Avu and began scrolling through his phone.
“Shaadi se pehle log alag hote hain, aur baad mein ekdum se change ho jaate hain,” Sanyukta muttered, her tone light but tinged with mock annoyance as she peeked at him.
Ranvijay chuckled, putting his phone aside. Turning toward her, he sighed.
“Ab bhi koi shikayat baaki hai kya?” he asked curiously, a smirk playing on his lips.
“Aap Satyam ke saath dinner pe jaa rahe hain,” she accused, narrowing her eyes at him.
Ranvijay laughed heartily. “Satyam nahi, Sanyukta ke saath,” he said, winking at her.
“Jhooth mat boliye… aapne abhi usse phone pe kaha,” she scoffed, crossing her arms.
“Maine toh sirf usse dinner ke arrangements karne ko bola hai,” Ranvijay clarified.
“Aap sach mein mujhe dinner pe le ja rahe hain?” Sanyukta asked, the surprise and excitement in her voice unmistakable.
“Of course! Anu ne bataya ki tu nahi gayi sabke saath, so I thought ki aaj chalte hain,” he said, grinning at her childlike enthusiasm.
Sanyukta’s face lit up, her grin wide and radiant. Ranvijay couldn’t help but smile back, loving the way she reacted to even the simplest surprises.
In the evening, as everyone sat together in the hall enjoying tea, Ranveer announced Anjali's pregnancy.
“We got the reports two days back, but we wanted to wait until everyone was present to share the news,” he said, beaming with pride.
Anushka squealed in excitement, her joy infectious. Avu and Aarvi, though too young to understand the reason, joined her, clapping and giggling in delight.
Sanyukta hugged Anjali warmly, congratulating her, while Ranvijay, in his usual dramatic flair, picked Anjali up and spun her around, making her laugh.
“Ranvijay… lag jaayegi, let her down!” Pushpa chided, half-stern and half-amused.
“Beta, Sanyukta, jaa kuch meetha le aa kitchen se,” Pushpa instructed, and Sanyukta nodded, heading to fetch sweets.
The family took turns blessing Anjali and Ranveer, showering them with love and good wishes. Anushka, already brimming with enthusiasm, began planning a baby shower.
“Celebration toh banta hai, Bhaiiii!” she exclaimed, her voice full of excitement. “Shall we go out for dinner again?”
“Nahi,” Pushpa intervened gently. “Anjali ko ab bahar ka khana nahi khana chahiye. Kuch din pehle hi toh gaye the. Ghar mein hi celebrate karenge.”
As Pushpa spoke, Sanyukta’s eyes instinctively drifted toward Ranvijay, catching his mischievous glance.
“Maa bilkul theek keh rahi hai,” Ranvijay agreed with a grin. “Ghar pe ruk tu… aaj main aur Sanyukta celebrate karne jaayenge dinner pe. After all, we’re going to be Chachu and Chachi again!”
“Yeh kya baat hui, Bhaiiii!” Anushka pouted, her expression exaggerated.
“It’s okay. Tujhe samajh nahi aayega, kyunki yeh sense waali baat hai,” Ranvijay teased, his smirk widening.
“Fine, I don’t want to be a third wheel, but mere liye kuch khaane ka le aana,” she retorted, making Ranvijay roll his eyes dramatically.
Later, Sanyukta lovingly fed Avu and put him to sleep in Dadi’s room before getting ready for dinner. She chose a saree for the occasion, its elegance bringing out her natural grace. As she adjusted her pallu in front of the mirror, a soft blush crept across her cheeks at the thought of the evening ahead.
"Kisi ki shaadi mein jaa rahe hain hum?" Ranvijay asked, stepping out of the closet, his shirt unbuttoned.
Sanyukta frowned, turning toward him. "Achi nahi lag rahi kya? Change kar lu?" she asked, her voice uncertain.
Ranvijay smirked. "Nahi, rehne do… late ho jaayega," he replied, walking up to her and pointing at his unbuttoned shirt.
She sighed, stepping closer to button his shirt with a small pout.
He chuckled, pinching her nose playfully. "Mazaak kar raha tha… achi lag rahi hai," he said, slipping into his shoes.
"Toh fir yeh kyun kaha?!" she said, backing away, her annoyance evident.
"Bola na mazaak tha... ab kyu aisi shakal bana rahi hai?" he teased, combing his hair.
Sanyukta glanced at herself in the mirror again, doubt creeping in. "Ab mujhe yeh over lag rahi hai… bas 5 minute do, change karke aati hu," she muttered.
Ranvijay groaned. "Arre yaar! I was just teasing you. Tum bilkul perfect lag rahi ho, samjhi? Chalo ab!" he said, grabbing her hand and dragging her out of the room.
---
They reached the restaurant soon and sat at their reserved table.
"Ab khush hain aap, Sanyukta ji?" Ranvijay asked, leaning forward on the table with a playful smirk.
Sanyukta chuckled. "Ji, Ranvijay ji, bohot khush hoon mai," she played along, making him laugh.
"Kuch khaayengi aap, ya khushi se hi pet bhar jaayega?" he teased, flipping through the menu.
"Mera toh khushi se ho jaayega, lekin mere pati ek number ke bhukkad hain," she teased back, making him narrow his eyes at her.
At that exact moment, a waiter appeared to take their order.
"Mere liye paneer tikka, paneer makhani, masala naan, ek veg biryani, aur sweet dish baad mein bataunga. Aur ye madam sirf khush hone aayi hain, toh iska rehne do," Ranvijay said, giving Sanyukta a playful look as she shook her head.
"Jaayiye aap," Ranvijay told the waiter, who hesitated before leaving reluctantly.
Sanyukta pouted at him.
"Kuch aur khaana hai? Tu toh yeh sab hi khaati hai," he said, making her smile.
"Aapko yaad hai?" she asked, her voice soft, looking at him keenly.
"Of course, yaad hai. Chaar baar tujhe bahar leke gaya hoon, har baar yahi toh khaati hai," he said with a teasing grin, making her laugh.
"Toh aapne apni pasand ka kuch order kyun nahi kiya?" she asked curiously.
"Paise bachane ke liye," he replied cheekily. "Aur tu thoda sa hi khaati hai. Aise hi chalti rahi toh biology teacher se seedha bio lab ke skeleton pe promote ho jaayegi!" he added, making her burst into laughter.
The food arrived, and Sanyukta carefully served him first before serving herself. She knew from experience that if left to him, he’d make a mess of things.
They ate, laughing and chatting about random things.
"Main washroom hoke aati hoon. Tab tak aap sweet dish order kar lijiye," Sanyukta said, wiping her hands.
Ranvijay nodded, watching her walk away with a fond smile.
She went toward the washroom while he ordered the sweet dish. After paying the bill, Ranvijay sat waiting for her to return. However, when ten minutes passed and she still hadn’t come back, he decided to check on her himself.
Suddenly, he heard Sanyukta yelling at someone in the corridor.
"Just shut up and leave!" she shouted.
"Sanyukta?" Ranvijay called out, his voice alert, gaining her attention.
"What happened? And who is he?" he asked, looking at the man standing in front of her.
"Her first husband," Naman smirked, introducing himself.
Ranvijay’s lips curled into a mocking smile. "Acha, tumhi ho vo jisko Sanyukta ne chhod diya... ‘Ex-husband’ bolte hain usse."
"Chaliye, hum chalte hain," Sanyukta said, her voice cool, and Ranvijay nodded, taking her hand.
Naman, however, wasn’t going to let them leave that easily. His ego was bruised, and he decided to retaliate.
"Vese, Mr. Ranvijay... I would like to tell you something," Naman said, stepping forward.
Sanyukta’s face turned pale as he spoke again, his tone smug. "She feels extremely good in bed... first-hand experience se bata raha hoon."
The words hit Sanyukta like a slap, and she felt humiliated. Ranvijay, on the other hand, flared with rage. His eyes locked on Sanyukta, who was now looking down, her face flushed with embarrassment, and that only made his anger burn brighter.
"What are you waiting for?" Ranvijay yelled, making her jump in shock.
Sanyukta trembled, her heart racing, and clenched her jaw, trying to suppress the fear bubbling inside her.
"Just slap him right now," Ranvijay growled. "Aur agar achhe se nahi maara, toh main tumhe maar dunga."
Sanyukta nodded, her hands shaking, and without thinking, turned and slapped Naman hard across the face. The force of the slap took him by surprise.
"Tch, tch..." Ranvijay sighed disapprovingly, clearly not satisfied. "Slap him again."
Sanyukta, her hand still trembling, slapped Naman even harder the second time, her gaze fierce.
Naman’s face twisted with pure rage as he glared at her.
But Ranvijay only chuckled, his laughter filling the air. He pulled Sanyukta close, wrapping his arm around her shoulder possessively.
"How does this feel now?" Ranvijay said with a wicked grin, his eyebrows raised. "First-hand experience on both cheeks."
Naman’s face burned with humiliation, but Ranvijay wasn’t done yet.
"Let me also tell you a little secret," he said, his voice dangerously calm. "You said she feels good... well, she told me you were 'dhilla'—you never gave her what she needed." Ranvijay’s smirk grew wider as he watched Naman’s fury rise.
Sanyukta’s eyes widened in disbelief. She turned to Ranvijay, unsure whether to be impressed or shocked by his words.
"Don’t worry, darling," Ranvijay continued, his voice suddenly soft. "Go back inside, I’ll be there in a moment."
She nodded and left, still processing everything.
The moment she disappeared down the corridor, Ranvijay grabbed Naman by the throat, his grip tightening dangerously. "Next time I see you around her..." Ranvijay’s voice dropped to a lethal whisper, "Main jaan se maar dunga tujhe."
He pushed Naman to the ground, watching him cough and gasp for air. "She is Mrs. Ranvijay Singh Shekhawat now," Ranvijay added coldly, his expression hard.
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Naman struggling on the floor.
The drive back home was silent. Ranvijay let Sanyukta be, understanding that she needed time and space. He didn’t press her with questions, knowing she would open up when she was ready.
Once home, Sanyukta retreated to their room without saying a word. Ranvijay, though, walked to Dadi’s room to get Avu.
He entered the room, carefully lifting the sleeping boy into his arms. He then went to their bedroom, where Sanyukta was sitting on the bed, still in her clothes from dinner.
He tucked Avu into the bed and sat beside Sanyukta, his hand gently taking hers.
"What happened?" he asked, his voice soft but concerned.
Sanyukta looked up at him, her eyes searching his.
"I want to consummate our marriage," she said, her voice steady but filled with an intensity that took Ranvijay by shock.
